The Living Histories project was made possible through support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, enabling us to capture and share the voices of the people who care for our upland landscapes. Since its completion, the films have helped strengthen communication between farmers, moorland managers, and the wider community by sharing honest stories about life and work on the land.
These short videos celebrate the cultural, environmental, and agricultural heritage of the moors, showing the breadth of work farmers do, from food production to everyday stewardship.
